Wow, another month has come and gone fast. We are 7 months into 2011: time flies right in front of ours eyes.
In June we celebrated Father’s day. It’s a hard day for me since my daddy has gone to heaven already and although it’s been a couple of years ago I still feel like it was yesterday. I haven’t been able to say Happy Father’s Day to any other father since then, with the exception of my only uncle Domi. It’s sort of a forced greeting but I do love him indeed. Anyways, I’m going to post my fave picture of my daddy and I. Dad, I love you with all my heart and I miss you every single day.

Then, an old love flame came back. It was weird because I had become used to not seeing him anymore. I was happy for about 45 minutes and, then, when I realized that he hadn’t changed his ways one bit I mentally wished him away again. We haven’t re-started anything (and my guess is nothing will happen between us love-wise). He promised not to have a hidden agenda so we remained in touch. I still wish him away.

I finally convinced my friend to let me photograph him and his sweet baby-girl! He has been missing her terrily so I thought that it would be a terrific idea to have a photo session of the two of them together and then hang some of the best shots in his house. I’m thrilled he said yes so now we are waiting for the weather to get nicer so we can go to a park and go photo crazy with him and the little one!

On June 21st, when the Northern hemisphere as joyuos about the summer solstice, here we started winter. And let me say winter made sure we knew it was already among us because that day we almost froze! We had some very mild weather during the fall but the very same day winter started the below zero temperatures showed out of the blue… and it’s been almost 10 days of cold (very cold) days. So I can officially say, I AM DONE WITH WINTER!! I want summer back!

Last, but not least, LVM is 3 years old now and in honor of such sweet occasion Jackie decided the theme for June was “Texts”. We were to pick our favorite photos and add some words to them. Because I lacked time to shoot so new stuff I used some from my archive and also, in the heat of inspiration I came out with nice words and sentences of my own! Here they are…

So my sister is now into gardening (it’s a phase, I know it is) so she bought this weird looking flower that actually looks more like a cauliflower more than an actual flower therefore I’m not really sure what it is but it looked pretty enough to take a picture of it.

One of the things I loved the most during my life in the States was the different colors in the fall. Not that I was extactic with joy because of the upcoming gelid weather and snow, but the first month of fall was something magical. The trees turned all shades of yellow, orange, red and brown. It was even more beautiful than a painting hanging at the Met.

Maximo at the age of 2 in his house with his mom and godmother. He is one of the sweetest little guys I’ve met! He has long (very long) eyelashes and a smile that makes you melt away.

Just because I could never get enough of these lovely trees in full bloom. No matter how many time I look at the pictures, I’m still in love…

Yes, one can say there is no more magical time in Central Park than the one when the park is all white and dreamy covered in snow. But there is something very appealing about the early spring when all the trees are blooming and there are flowers everywhere. It just makes you want to sit on a bench and look at the trees turning all different shades of pink as the sun sets on the horizon…

The Parana river soaks the cost of the provinces of Santa Fe and Entre Rios, among others. For two years on a row there has been floods. The first one was late January and February 2010. This year started in March and is still going on. Most of the coast of Victoria disappeared under the water.
